Exploring how research and innovation can strengthen Europe’s bioindustry and shape a competitive and sustainable future.
RootLinks is pleased to share an upcoming conference hosted by INRAE, together with IBISBA and the PEPR B BEST initiative. The event will gather leaders from research, industry, civil society and EU institutions to discuss how biotechnology can drive progress across agro industries and the broader bioeconomy.
The conference will focus on three dedicated themes that together reflect Europe’s strategic ambitions for biotech:
- The role of biotechnology in boosting EU scientific and industrial competitiveness, with a particular focus on nature based biomanufacturing
- How high quality and FAIR data can accelerate AI developments for biotechnology
- The essential contribution of research infrastructures to unlocking the full potential of biotech innovation
This event offers a timely platform to capitalise on existing knowledge and to contribute to Europe’s evolving vision for a resilient and competitive bioindustry.
Participation is free, but seats are limited and registration is mandatory.
The event will take place on 4 February 2026 at Maison Irène et Frédéric Joliot Curie, Rue du Trône 100, 1050 Brussels.
