RootLinks will be participating in Aquaculture Europe 2026, taking place in Ljubljana, Slovenia, from 28 September to 1 October 2026, with both an exhibition presence and a dedicated side event designed to connect blue primary producers with practical circular innovations.
Throughout the event, visitors can meet the RootLinks team at booth 176, part of the SUBMARINER stand, where RootLinks will be showcased by sPro alongside other initiatives advancing sustainability and innovation across the blue economy.
In addition, RootLinks is hosting “RootLinks: Blue Innovation Bites”, a free side event that brings together primary producers, researchers and technology developers to explore circular, bio-based solutions for aquaculture.
Drawing on the results of more than 70 EU-funded research and innovation projects, the session will present practical tools, technologies and approaches that can support blue primary producers in becoming more circular, resource-efficient and resilient.
Through a series of short, engaging pitches, participants will hear directly from projects and organisations working on solutions relevant to finfish, shellfish, microalgae and macroalgae production. The session will also include discussion opportunities, allowing attendees to exchange ideas, ask questions and explore how these innovations can be applied in practice.
The event will conclude with networking and refreshments, providing an opportunity to connect with presenters, researchers and other stakeholders from across the blue economy. Read more about the agenda and speakers here.
