RootLinks will be present at this international conference dedicated to circular solutions and innovation in sustainable aquaculture.
The AQUALOOP International Conference marks the final event of the INTERREG South Baltic project AquaLoop- Aquaculture expert floor for circular economy practice. The event bringing together research, industry and policy stakeholders working on circular economy practices in aquaculture, with a strong focus on recirculating aquaculture systems, side stream valorisation, and capacity building across the South Baltic region.
RootLinks will be represented on site by partners Katharina Kurzweil, Freya Robinson, and Konstantinos Madias from sPro. As leads of the Blue Bioeconomy sector group within RootLinks, they will actively engage in discussions, exchange insights with project partners and stakeholders, and strengthen connections around circular and sustainable aquaculture solutions.
The conference programme highlights results from pilot initiatives on nutrient loop closing, circular RAS farm concepts, and training activities, offering a valuable forum for showcasing innovation and sharing lessons learned at European level. Find more information about the event here.
