The FOREST Joint Call 2026 invites experts to join its International Expert Panel and contribute to the evaluation of research and innovation proposals.
The FOREST Joint Call 2026 is looking for independent experts to support the evaluation of research and innovation proposals under its upcoming call. Researchers, practitioners, and stakeholders with recognised expertise in the call’s thematic areas and objectives, including interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral work, are encouraged to express their interest.
Experts selected for the International Expert Panel will assess proposals individually, take part in consensus discussions, and contribute to the preparation of final ranking lists for funding recommendations.
The call will be launched in September 2026 as a two-stage process. Participation in the evaluation is subject to selection: registering as an expert does not automatically guarantee involvement. Selected experts will undergo a conflict-of-interest assessment and will be required to sign confidentiality and conflict-of-interest declarations before taking part in the process.
