Join IFIB 2026 in Rome on 1–2 October and connect with global leaders, innovators, researchers, and investors shaping the future of industrial biotechnology and the bioeconomy.
The International Forum on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioeconomy (IFIB) returns to Rome on 1–2 October 2026, bringing together leading stakeholders from across the bioeconomy sector. The annual forum is dedicated to the latest developments in industrial biotechnology and bioeconomy, showcasing innovative solutions based on renewable biological resources.
IFIB offers a unique platform for companies, startups, universities, research centres, investors, and policymakers to exchange knowledge, explore new opportunities, and build strategic partnerships.
A key feature of the event is the IFIB Matchmaking Programme, organised by the Enterprise Europe Network partner Innovhub SSI, which includes five sessions of pre-arranged B2B meetings. Participants from Europe and beyond will have the opportunity to connect with potential partners for research collaborations, business development, licensing agreements, joint ventures, and knowledge exchange.
Participation in the matchmaking activities is free of charge for registered IFIB conference attendees.
